We are seeking a highly credible and client-facing Technical Sales Consultant with a strong consulting or professional services background to join a leading System Integrator in Singapore. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in both technology and business conversations, is persuasive and outcome-focused, and can translate innovation into executable, value-driven solutions.
As a Technical Sales Consultant, you will collaborate closely with Clients, Product Owners, Sales, and Delivery Leads to position and pitch the company's key offeringsspanning technology modernization, core banking, and payments. You will play a pivotal role in securing new client engagements while contributing to a culture that values integrity, collaboration, and high performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with Product, Account, and Delivery leadership to qualify, shape, and win modernization and other opportunities across enterprise clients.
- Lead and facilitate technical discovery sessions to understand legacy environments and define modernization pathways.
- Work closely with technical SMEs to develop and present solution blueprints, technical proposals, and value narratives tailored to client outcomes.
- Engage senior client stakeholders to establish credibility, influence decisions, and drive alignment.
- Translate agreed approaches into costed, commercially viable solutions while ensuring technical feasibility and protecting margins.
- Support RFP/RFI responses, bid reviews, and pursuit governance in line with corporate sales processes.
- Collaborate with the Product team to track market and technology trends, informing solution development and competitive positioning.
Required Skills & Experience
- Demonstrated expertise in technology modernization, or proven experience in technical pre-sales or solution consulting within a consultancy or systems integrator environment.
- Experience supporting enterprise transformation programs.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to balance technical integrity, competitive pricing, and effective win strategies.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and storytelling skills; comfortable engaging executive-level audiences.
- Familiarity with structured sales and bid management methodologies (e.g., Miller Heiman, MEDDIC, Challenger).
- Solid understanding of delivery risk, estimation, and solution feasibility within modernization programs.
