Responsibilities
Were seeking a proactive and analytical Technical Purchaser to help scale our operations. This is an integral role with opportunity to work in a high-tech engineering environment supporting global customers, and exposure to strategic supply chain initiatives.
Scope Of Responsibilities
- Procurement of goods and services
- Place and manage purchase orders for technical components, materials, and non-project requirements
- Track order status to ensure timely delivery of goods and services
- Maintain accurate and timely procurement data in the ERP system
- Ensure compliance with internal procurement policies and controls
- Strategic supply chain management
- Maintain relationships with suppliers to support quality, performance and cost improvements
- Support supply chain initiatives, such as multi-sourcing, demand and inventory planning, supplier evaluations, and cost optimisation
- Support digitalisation and process improvement initiatives in procurement and supply chain
Qualifications
- Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations or a related field or equivalent work experience
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in procurement or production planning
- Able to grasp technical concepts and specifications of technical components, materials and manufacturing processes
- Experience in industrial equipment or high-mix low-volume manufacturing environment is a plus
- Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel
