Technical Project Engineer (Mechanical / Manufacturing Liaison)

The Role

We are seeking a technically-savvy Mechanical Engineer to act as the vital link between our customers and our manufacturing partners. In this role, you are the technical voice of the company. You aren't just passing messages you are analyzing technical drawings, assessing manufacturing feasibility, and ensuring that what the customer imagines can actually be produced efficiently and correctly.

Key Responsibilities

• Technical Translation: Review customer blueprints and 3D CAD models to determine if they are ready for production.

• Feasibility Assessment (DFM): Advise customers on what can and cannot be done regarding materials, tolerances, and manufacturing processes.

• Manufacturing Liaison: Communicate directly with the factory to resolve production hurdles and optimize part functionality.

• Problem Solving: Identify design flaws early and suggest modifications to the customer to ensure the part works in the real world.

• Quality Oversight: Ensure final manufactured samples meet the original technical specifications and drawings before mass production.

What We're Looking For

• The Expert Eye: Strong ability to read and interpret complex mechanical drawings and technical GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).

• Engineering Foundation: A Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

• Software Literacy: Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, etc.) to review and measure designs.

• Communication Skills: Must be able to articulate technical limitations clearly to customers and production requirements to manufacturers.

• Practical Mindset: You know how parts fit together and why a certain design might fail during assembly.

Job Details

• Location: Near Paya Lebar MRT.

• Work Schedule: 5-day work week (9:00 AM - 6:00 PM).

• Salary Range:$3,000 - $4,500 (commensurate with experience).

• Work Mode: Hybrid flexibility available.
