About the Role
Delton Marine seeks a proactive and detail-oriented Technical Project Engineer to support marine engineering projects from inception to completion. This role involves technical documentation, product and data management, client liaison, and after-sales support. The ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic environment, combining technical know-how with strong organizational and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
Evaluate technical specifications and supplier quotations to ensure quality and cost efficiency.
Provide technical support in preparing engineering drawings and specifications.
Liaise with clients to clarify technical requirements and project scope.
Conduct site inspections, equipment installations, permit applications, and testing when required.
Establish and maintain a comprehensive technical database and product information library.
Update and manage product pricing, technical datasheets, and material specifications.
Coordinate with suppliers to source raw materials, components, and equipment for marine projects.
Manage after-sales technical support, warranty claims, and service issues.
Coordinate with clients and internal teams to resolve technical problems efficiently.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronic Engineering.
At least 5 years of relevant hands-on experience in similar roles within marine, industrial, or engineering support industries.
Proficiency in CAD software and technical drawing interpretation.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication skills for collaboration with clients, suppliers, and cross-functional teams.
Knowledge of marine systems, materials, and technical documentation processes is an advantage.
Able to liaise effectively with Mandarin-speaking customers and partners to support project and after-sales communication requirements.
Regional travel is required for this role.
