SALT Talent is looking to hire a Technical Program Manager for one of the tech clients in Singapore for 12 months & renewable contract role. In this fast-paced position, you will be launching a Singapore Data Center hence we prefer someone who had experience managing network projects at scale.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate cross-functional Network Deployment (Edge, Backbone, Data Center) projects related to new data center builds, tech modifications, upgrades, operations and infrastructure.
- Develop project plans, track progress, and ensure timely delivery of milestones.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to drive project success.
Qualification:
- Experience in network engineering with a focus on deployment & support of Peering, Edge, CDN & ISP networks
- Knowledge of networking routing and switching protocols (BGP, MPLS, RSVP-TE, IS-IS)
- Working knowledge of network protocols (TCP/UDP, DNS) and experience with IPv4/IPv6 environments
- Working knowledge of POP/Colo physical infrastructure concepts and optic types used in 10G/100G/400G networks
- Ability to forecast and plan in a fast paced environment and translate the forecast into actionable deliverables with specific timelines
- Had experience managing network projects (large scales), within data centers, edge, pops, backbone - we don't necessarily need someone with an engineer or have hands on configuration background. What we need is someone who understands the concepts/fundamentals of network configuration and understand how they operate end to end
