Our client a leading global technology company operating one of the world's largest digital platforms, is looking for a Program Manager with strong experience in data center network deployment to support critical infrastructure initiatives.
This is a 12-months contract role.
Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate cross-functional network deployment projects across edge, backbone, and data center environments, including new builds, upgrades, technology changes, and operational initiatives
- Support forecasting and capacity planning efforts, translating requirements into actionable delivery plans
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, track progress, and ensure timely delivery of milestones
- Collaborate closely with internal engineering teams and external vendors/partners to ensure successful execution of projects
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks while ensuring adherence to established infrastructure standards and best practices
- Manage multiple concurrent programs, ensuring alignment with timelines, scope, and delivery objectives
- Communicate project status, risks, issues, and outcomes clearly to stakeholders at all levels
Requirements
- 7 years of experience in Program Management and Network Deployment (Edge, Backbone, Data Centre)
- Proven experience in network engineering with exposure to deployment and support of peering, edge, CDN, and ISP networks
- Strong understanding of networking protocols including BGP, MPLS, RSVP-TE, and IS-IS
- Working knowledge of TCP/UDP, DNS, and IPv4/IPv6 environments
- Experience with data center or colocation (colo) physical infrastructure, including optical technologies used in 10G/100G/400G networks
- Demonstrated experience managing infrastructure programs or projects in data center environments
- Ability to plan and execute in a fast-paced environment, translating forecasts into structured delivery timelines
