TECHNICAL PROGRAM MANAGER | MATERIALS AI RESEARCH

Due to continued growth and regional expansion, our client seeks a Technical Program Manager to help drive research and development initiatives. As part of a newly established regional team, the position plays a key role in advancing technical programs within a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment, with a strong focus on translating scientific ambitions into scalable, real-world outcomes.

Working closely with global counterparts, the role contributes to evolving and adapting program management frameworks for local execution. It involves close collaboration with AI researchers, materials scientists, engineers, and cross-functional stakeholders, providing end-to-end program management support while aligning research, engineering, and commercial priorities.

The position is responsible for leading complex, cross-functional technical programs from concept through delivery. This includes scoping new initiatives, translating requirements into clear objectives, planning resources and compute needs, defining milestones, managing risks, and ensuring accountability across teams. A strong emphasis is placed on coordinating both local and international stakeholders, driving customer-facing projects, and integrating compliance and regulatory considerations into program execution.

In addition, the role engages extensively with external partners, including industry collaborators and research institutions, serving as a key interface throughout project delivery. Responsibilities include managing joint development initiatives, supporting proposal development, facilitating technical discussions, and continuously improving internal processes through data-driven insights. The ideal candidate brings experience in technical program management within science-led environments, strong stakeholder management capabilities, and the ability to operate effectively in complex, multidisciplinary settings.
