Job Description
- Lead, mentor, and develop the Applications Engineering team to strengthen technical competencies and customer-focused performance.
- Oversee solution layouts, design proposals, detailed drawings, mechanical engineering deliverables, and Bill of Materials (BoM) approval.
- Provide technical expertise during presales discussions and ensure customer requirements are accurately translated into competitive proposals.
- Support production and project teams during assembly, installation, and technical troubleshooting.
- Manage project schedules and ensure timely completion of engineering and delivery milestones.
- Oversee operational functions such as shipping, ordering, procurement, and basic IT coordination through direct subordinates.
- Streamline and strengthen workflows to improve efficiency, accuracy, and service reliability across operations.
- Lead aftersales and RMA analysis for key accounts, identifying improvement opportunities and supporting customer retention.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Technical / Operations Manager should have:
- An engineering degree or equivalent background and is proficient in CAD platforms such as AutoCAD and Inventor.
- Experienced in guiding small technical teams and fostering growth in engineering capability.
- Clear and confident communicator who can articulate technical concepts to both internal and external stakeholders.
- Organized and structured, able to navigate multiple engineering and operational tasks concurrently.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving mindset with a customer‑oriented approach.
- Comfortable collaborating across departments and adapting to evolving business needs.
- Committed to continuous learning and maintaining high standards of quality and professionalism.
