Technical Officer / Senior (Control & Instrumentation) 2-Year Contract

Our client is a leading power generation company in Singapore. They are looking for aTechnical Officer / Senior (Control & Instrumentation) to assist their team for the next phase of their business. They are located in the West - easily accessible.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:15 AM - 5:30 PM

Company Transport: Provided from Choa Chu Kang (7:20 AM) and Jurong East (7:15 AM) MRT stations

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and carry out maintenance and overhaul works for all control and instrumentation (C&I) systems and equipment.
• Supervise contractors to ensure maintenance tasks are completed safely, on schedule, and in compliance with technical and contractual requirements.
• Monitor and evaluate contractor performance, providing regular progress updates.
• Support Engineers in diagnosing plant faults, investigating equipment issues, and managing outages.
• Perform troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance activities to ensure optimal equipment reliability.
• Conduct inspections and condition monitoring of plant systems to identify potential issues early.

Requirements:

• Diploma in Electrical, Electronic, Control, or Mechatronics Engineering
• Relevant experience in power generation, utilities, petrochemical, or process plant industries will be advantageous
• Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Good teamwork and communication abilities
