What You'll Do
You will join the Singapore District Cooling (SDC), an arm of SP Group who provides
district cooling and heating services to developments in Singapore and China. Your
key responsibilities will include:
- Perform maintenance tasks for instrumentation and control for District Cooling System.
- Understand and able to troubleshoot with IO problem, Instrument problem, Control Valves, transmitter and Control System.
- Participate and assisting engineer in development of designing of control system architecture, control philsophy, P&ID, logic diagrams.
- Perform schedule maintenance and calibration for instrument element, sensors control valves and control panels.
- Supervise contractor to carry on the Instrumentation and control system maintenance service.
- Perform annual shutdown service and maintenance service for instrument system and control system (RTD sensor, level transmitter, actuator, flow transmitter, pressure differential transmitter).
- Support testing & commissioning and troubleshooting in any district cooling plant, industrial and commercial building cooling plant.
- Review method statement for installation of instrumentation.
- Interface with other discipline, client and vendors.
What You'll Need
- Diploma in Instrumentation, Electrical & Electronics, Mechatronics, Mechanical.
- At least 5 years of experience in project management or field & application experience in chiller or instrumentation and control industry.
- Ability to work independently on the troubleshooting and service of instrumentation and control for new and existing developments including district cooling plant, centralised cooling system and remote off-take station.
- Knowledge in Cooling Systems instrument and control will be an added advantage.
- Experience in HMI/SCADA/PLC configuration, troubleshooting.
- Knowledge and hands on skills in instrument calibration for RTD, level transmitter, actuator, flow transmitter, pressure differential transmitter.
- Basic knowledge in evaluating construction shop drawings.
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to work as a team.
