Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine preventive maintenance (PM) and corrective maintenance (CM) on biomedical equipment in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and hospital protocols.
- Ensure timely response to equipment breakdowns to minimize clinical service disruption.
- Maintain accurate service records and update maintenance logs in the hospital's asset management system.
- Completion of all assigned repair and maintenance PM & (R&M) work orders within the time frame.
- Assist in the installation, testing, and commissioning of new biomedical equipment. Support clinical departments during equipment setup and initial use, ensuring safe and effective operation.
- Completion of commissioning of medical equipment within schedule
- Conduct safety checks and performance verification of equipment prior to clinical use.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards (e.g., MOH, HSA) and hospital safety policies.
- Report and escalate equipment hazard or incidents to the Biomedical Engineer or Senior Engineer.
- Perform on-call duties and respond promptly and efficiently to emergency breakdown calls.
- Comply with relevant national and international standards and performances established by the department
- Assist in the evaluation and technical assessment of new equipment proposed for procurement by the facility.
- Maintain effective and professional working relationships with all departments.
- Monitor and track biomedical equipment inventory, including loaned and consignment items.
- Support equipment lifecycle management, including decommissioning and disposal.
- Provide basic operational guidance to clinical staff on biomedical equipment.
Requirements:
Diploma in biomedical engineering or equivalent recognised qualification with 1-3 years experience OR
Certificate in relevant biomedical engineering recognized by Singapore education authority if any with 5 years experience preferably with hospital setting and/or biomedical engineering Industry.

Working Hours:
- Mon - Thursday: 8.30am - 6pm
- Friday: 8.30am to 5.30pm
