Role Overview
The Technical Manager will manage multiple Java squads,oversee delivery of enterprise solutions, and provide technical leadership forcritical projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor multiple Java squads, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality code.
- Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and design decisions.
- Plan sprints, manage dependencies, and track progress against delivery targets.
- Liaise with business stakeholders, product owners, and clients.
- Implement Agile delivery practices, risk mitigation, and quality control.
- Monitor performance metrics and implement process improvements.
Requirements
- 10+ years experience in Java development with at least 3 years in squad/team management.
- Strong knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and enterprise architecture.
- Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
- Experience with Agile delivery methodology and programme management.
