Technical Manager - Domain Name System

Responsibilities

• Oversee complete system operations and lifecycle management to guarantee availability, reliability, security, scalability, and resilience. Act as the primary system owner and escalation point for the assigned systems. Lead system upgrades, integrations, migrations, and change initiatives. Manage incident resolution, problem management, and service requests in alignment with established service levels. Ensure adherence to security policies, standards, procedures, and regulatory requirements, including conducting regular security reviews and risk assessments. Maintain thorough system documentation to facilitate audits and governance processes. Oversee vendor management, including service delivery, compliance with SLAs, and alignment with industry best practices. Handle budgeting, cost control, and related system expenditures. Lead procurement efforts, including tender specifications, evaluations, and contract negotiations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure technology delivery aligns with business objectives.

Requirements

• Minimum 7 years of robust IT infrastructure experience, with a preference for candidates with stable career histories. Strong hands-on proficiency with AWS, encompassing both infrastructure and application management (e.g., EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, security, and monitoring). Relevant AWS certifications at Associate or Professional level. Demonstrated experience managing IT projects, specifically delivering complex infrastructure or platform initiatives. Solid understanding of production-grade, high-availability systems including DNS (Domain Name System). Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage and manage multiple stakeholders effectively.
