Technical Manager - Curtain Wall

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in the preparation and review of project design concepts, technical plans, and specifications.

• Provide practical and technically sound recommendations to improve constructability, compliance, and cost efficiency.

• Coordinate and support the implementation of internal and external technical and design plans.

• Review design drawings, shop drawings, and technical submissions before construction.

• Ensure all design and technical solutions comply with Singapore codes, standards, and project requirements.

• Participate in internal technical and design coordination meetings.

• Review construction methods and construction plans, including specialised or critical work methods.

• Work with project teams and consultants to resolve technical issues during construction.

• Participate in material and workmanship sample approvals.

• Support VPMU (mock-up and quality standard) management and ensure site works meet approved technical standards.

• Provide regular on-site technical support and coordination.

• Participate in early-stage cost control and value engineering to ensure design solutions are cost-effective and aligned with project budgets.

• Carry out other duties assigned by management.

• Contribute to the development and improvement of the company's technical and project management systems.

Requirements

• Degree or diploma in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related discipline.

• At least 8 years of relevant industry experience, including a minimum of 5 years in a technical, design, or project support role.

• Strong understanding of Singapore building regulations, technical standards, and construction practices.

• Experience in design coordination, drawing review, and construction technical support.

• Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
