Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced
Technical Lead to drive the design and delivery of
Trade Finance applications for a leading banking client. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in
Java, Microservices, API development, DevOps, and
middleware technologies (WebSphere/JBoss) with hands-on experience in the
banking domain.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead technical design, development, and implementation of Trade Finance solutions.
- Design and build secure, scalable APIs and Microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
- Drive DevOps adoption CI/CD, automation, and containerization.
- Manage and optimize application servers (WebSphere, JBoss) for performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with business and architecture teams to translate functional requirements into technical designs.
- Ensure compliance with bank's security, audit, and performance standards.
- Provide technical leadership, code reviews, and mentoring to the development team.
- Support production deployment and incident resolution.
Technical Skills Required:
- Core: Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, RESTful APIs (mandatory)
- Middleware: IBM WebSphere, Red Hat JBoss
- DevOps Tools: Jenkins, Git, Maven/Gradle, Docker, Kubernetes
- Database: Oracle / DB2 / PostgreSQL
- Architecture: API Gateway, Integration Patterns, Event-driven Design
- Other: CI/CD pipelines, Cloud exposure (preferred), application monitoring
Domain Expertise:
- Strong understanding of Trade Finance products Letters of Credit, Guarantees, Bills, Supply Chain Finance.
- Prior experience in Banking and Financial Services is mandatory
