Purpose
As a member of GTOS team, you will be responsible in supporting the technical implementation of TOS platform and its related systems by assisting with solution design, system configuration, interface development, and integration tasks. The role will progressively take on architectural responsibilities and serve as a bridge between operations, IT, and vendors. This role is designed for a highly capable technical professional who will contribute directly to the implementation, configuration, and integration and rollout the Terminal Operating System (TOS).
Responsibilities
- Assist in the implementation and configuration of the TOS platform
- Participate in system integration tasks with third-party platforms
- Support the development of technical documentation and process flows.
- Participate in system testing, UAT, and issue resolution.
- Provide day-to-day technical support during deployment and stabilization.
- Participate in technical discussions with operations, IT, and vendors.
- Contribute to design discussions and decisions with guidance from senior architects.
- Work with Project and Product Managers in the planning and execution of projects and product releases
Professional Background
- 5+ years of working experience as an IT professional, with experience preferred in Application Architecture and solution design frameworks.
- Experience in the practical application of platform products, application frameworks and design patterns to realize solution architecture
- Experience in working with cross-functional teams and leading offshore outsourced development and support.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Technical Science
Technical Skills
- Experience in IT application frameworks, and deployment environments, including Application servers, clients, mobile and embedded platforms
- Resourceful in design frameworks and implementation (including code)
- Wide knowledge and hands on experience with the following Technologies is advantages:
- Application Development: Java Standard Edition(s), Java Enterprise Edition(s), C#/ASP, .NET, Spring Framework, Angular, Node.js, WSO2, Tomcat, Jetty, Websphere Application Servers
- Database: IBM DB2, Oracle DB, MySQL
- DevOps: Azure DevOps, Jenkins
- Source Code Management: Git, SVN

- Good verbal, presentation and written communication
- Ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment with budgets and schedules
- Ability to independently reach out as a peer, mentor & coach as appropriate across the organization
- Knowledge of enterprise-scale SDLCs and Agile Methodologies
