Overview
The individual is required to perform the role of a Project Technical Lead and is responsible for driving the technical design, architecture, integration, and deployment of Oracle Fusion as the core platform within the enterprise application ecosystem.
This role ensures Oracle Fusion is implemented in line with Oracle SaaS best practices and is seamlessly integrated with bestofbreed SaaS applications, legacy platforms, and approved inhouse solutions, delivering a secure, scalable, and supportable enterprise landscape.
The role requires deep Oracle Fusion technical expertise, strong hands-on leadership, and proven experience delivering complex, multi-system ERP transformations in collaboration with system integrators, vendors, and internal teams.
Responsibilities:
Solution Architecture & Design
- Lead the overall technical architecture strategy, ensuring Oracle Fusion serves as the backbone of the enterprise solution landscape.
- Design scalable, secure, and highperformance integrations between Oracle Fusion, bestofbreed applications, and legacy or customized solutions.
- Translate business and functional requirements into robust technical architectures and implementation approaches, aligned with Oracle standards.
- Govern the use of configuration, extensions, and customizations to minimize technical debt and ensure longterm upgradeability.
Implementation & Deployment Leadership
- Lead end to end technical delivery across configuration, extension, customization, and multi system integration.
- Oversee technical build activities, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards, coding standards and Oracle Fusion best practices.
- Lead technical cutover planning and production deployment, ensuring smooth deployment and minimal business disruption.
- Partner with the Test Lead to ensure technical readiness for SIT, UAT, cutover rehearsals, and go live.
Work closely with Data Management & Migration Teams
- Work with the Data Management and Migration teams to align data migration strategies covering extraction, transformation, cleansing, validation, and loading.
Technical Governance & Quality Assurance
- Ensure solution compliance with organizational security, performance, scalability, and operational standards.
- Establish and enforce technical governance, including best practices, coding guidelines, integration protocols, and quality assurance frameworks.
Issue Resolution & Support around scope area
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across design, testing, deployment, and stabilization phases.
- Coordinate with Oracle Support, system integrators, and third-party vendors to resolve defects, manage patches, updates and implement approved enhancements.
- Own technical risk identification, escalation, and mitigation within scope.
Leadership & Collaboration
- Provide hands on technical guidance, mentorship, and direction to development, integration, and support teams.
- Collaborate closely with functional leads, business stakeholders, architects, and project managers to ensure cohesive solution delivery.
- Communicate technical designs, risks and decisions to both technical and non technical stakeholders.
Documentation & Reporting
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive technical documentation including architecture diagrams, integration specifications, configuration details, and deployment guides.
- Track project technical milestones, dependencies, and risks, issues ensuring timely mitigation and reporting.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Functional Lead, Technical Lead or Solution Architect for Oracle Fusion implementations (ERP/HCM/SCM/other modules).
- Strong expertise in Oracle Fusion function, architecture, SaaS integration patterns, cloud integration frameworks, APIs, OIC, and related technologies.
- Experience with data migration methodologies and cloud based deployment approaches.
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Experience integrating best of breed SaaS applications into Oracle Fusion ecosystems.
- Familiarity with legacy-to-cloud migration strategies and hybrid architecture environments.
- Knowledge of enterprise security frameworks, compliance and performance optimization techniques
