- Delivery of MCS for APAC
The key duties and responsibilities of the role include:
- Assist the Regional Country Managers in executing the company's growth strategy and work toward introduction of New Build MCS business offers.
- Provide Business Development and Contract Account Management with Shipyards and Vessel Owners within the geographic area made responsible for.
- Assist with the development of MCS Technical and Commercial Proposals for New Build and scopes of work. Assisting the proposal team with understanding the scope of work, the time, the resources and tools required for delivery of the product.
- Verify the quality of the services by approving all New Build MCS products delivered to the client. Using Client feedback to continuously improve GM services.
- Project manage all MCS new build scopes of work using Poland DP Technical Resources, identify the most cost effective and time efficient method to deliver the work. Project management tools such as Netsuite and MCS branding templates to be used while adherence to all QHSE standards, and liaising with finance team and Regional Lead - Marine Services (APAC).
- Responsible for the profitability of New Build Projects (Accountability with Country Manager)
- Active team player with Global DP Technical Team (especially Poland).
- Escalate challenges or request for support to the Marine Services Lead.
- Provide Technical expertise in writing FME(C)A) for MCS.
- Attend vessels to conduct FME(C)A verification trials, assurance audits, witness testing/trials, and report on findings.
- Provide oversight of APAC MCS team conducting Trials, providing onsite training and areas for development.
- Attend MCS Conferences and Institutes, be recognized as an Industry Leader
- Ability to support Marine Warranty desktop reviews, attendances onsite and offshore for MCS
- Ability to Lead investigations for Client MCS failures.
- Provide guidance to various marine projects based on the most current marine industry standards and relevant classification society rules
- Assist with forecasting of future workload for New Builds
- Development of methodologies for projects
- Solving specific technical issues
- Lead New Build MCS Marine Services Personnel in China.
