Role Overview
The Technical Lead (Java 8, Microservices) will lead backend development, microservice architecture, and ensure delivery of high-quality solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead design and implementation of Java 8 microservices.
- Ensure coding standards, code reviews, and best practices.
- Collaborate with product, QA, and DevOps teams for smooth delivery.
- Troubleshoot performance issues and optimise backend systems.
- Mentor junior developers and elevate technical delivery maturity.
- Support CI/CD, monitoring, and security compliance.
Requirements
- 8+ years experience in Java backend and microservices development.
- Strong knowledge of Spring Boot, REST APIs, databases, and enterprise systems.
- Experience in mentoring or leading teams.
- Familiarity with cloud, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile delivery.
