Technical Engineering Section Manager - Chemical Manufacturing

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the Technical Engineering Section (TES) to optimize plant equipment performance through Preventive Maintenance (PM) and Shutdown Maintenance (SDM).
- Manage work request closures, equipment modifications, and SDM planning.
- Drive workplace safety and health initiatives within TES.
- Oversee Exceptional Case Reports (ECRs) to ensure timely resolution and reduction.
- Ensure compliance with company MS Control Systems, SOPs, and regulatory requirements.
- Manage budgets, manpower planning, and annual operational plans.
- Develop, train, and mentor staff to maintain strong competency and performance levels.
Requirements:
- Degree in Automation, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of manufacturing industry experience, including team management.
- Familiarity with ISO certification processes and strong knowledge of chemical plant operations and ESH regulations.
- Proficient in MS Office with strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Proven leadership and people management abilities.
- Safety-conscious, quality-driven, and effective communicator across functions.
Preferred Skills:
- Project management experience in preventive and shutdown maintenance.
- Strong ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and process improvements.
