Technical Engineer (Steam & Process Systems)

• Well Established Company

• Basic $4,500 - $6,500 + AWS + VB

• Working location: Upper Thomson

• Working Days: Monday - Friday

• Working Hours: 8.30am - 5.30pm

• Must have relevant steam related experience

Key Responsibilities:

• Sales & Customer Support

  • Recommend suitable products and engineering solutions based on customer needs.

  • Provide pre-sales and post-sales technical support, including troubleshooting.

  • Work closely with the sales team to deliver solutions and manage customer expectations.

  • Build strong, long-term relationships as a trusted technical advisor.

• Engineering & Technical Solutions

  • Diagnose technical issues and propose effective, practical solutions.

  • Engage with customer engineering and maintenance teams to resolve challenges.

  • Identify opportunities for improvements, cost savings, and efficiency gains.

  • Collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers to implement solutions.

• Presentations & Training

  • Deliver product demonstrations and technical presentations to customers.

  • Conduct training sessions for both internal teams and clients.

  • Support the development of technical and marketing materials.

• Project Management

  • Manage engineering projects from initiation to completion.

  • Coordinate with customers and suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.

  • Provide alternative solutions when issues arise during execution.

  • Maintain proper project documentation.

• Supplier & Market Coordination

  • Work with suppliers/principals to obtain technical support and quotations.

  • Act as a bridge between customers and suppliers to resolve technical matters.

  • Stay updated on industry trends and identify new product opportunities.

  • Other ad hoc duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Degree/Diploma in Mechanical/Chemical Engineering or related field with 2 years of relevant experience

• Experience with steam audit / systems, boilers, valves, or piping preferred

• Knowledge of industrial processes (oil & gas, chemical, power, etc.)
