TECHNICAL ENGINEER II/I

Job Description

• Modification and improvement of existing products
• Development of new products
• Performing laboratory testing and characterization of products
• Support commercial team in technical analysis of customer specifications and drive internal discussion specification review process.
• Support Operations and Quality teams in resolving technical problem and cost-down projects
• Liaise with suppliers to source for new chemical raw materials
• Lab management - keeping lab clean and safe, maintenance of lab equipment, ability to handle heavy loads, including disposal of chemical waste
• Customer interactions may be required at times
• Any other duties assigned from time to time

Job Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least Diploma/ Advanced Diploma/ Specialist Diploma/ Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Science or equivalent, majoring chemical, chemistry, materials (particularly polymer) or related.
• Experience (including internship) in formulation and/or coating of emulsions, UV curable and hotmelts are highly welcome.
• 1-3 years of working experience. Fresh graduates are also welcome.
• Bilingual (English/ Chinese) in communication with our overseas customers and colleagues (written/ spoken)
