Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage EMC and NetApp storage solutions to meet organizational needs.
- Monitor and maintain storage systems, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve storage-related issues in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate storage solutions with existing infrastructure.
- Develop and maintain documentation for storage configurations, processes, and procedures.
- Perform regular capacity planning and forecasting to ensure adequate storage resources.
- Implement backup and disaster recovery solutions for data protection.
- Stay updated with the latest storage technologies and best practices.
Mandatory Skills
- Extensive experience with EMC storage systems (deal breaker skill).
- Strong knowledge of NetApp storage solutions.
- Proficient in storage protocols such as iSCSI, NFS, and FC.
- Experience with storage management tools and software.
- Solid understanding of SAN and NAS architectures.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
- Experience with cloud storage solutions and hybrid environments.
- Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python) for automation.
- Certifications in EMC or NetApp technologies.
