We are partnering with a leading engineering solutions provider specializing in steam systems, boiler solutions, and industrial thermal processes to hire a Technical Engineer. This role will focus on providing technical support, engineering solutions, and project delivery across a range of steam products, including steam traps, boiler systems, and related equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
Technical Sales Support
- Support the sales team by identifying suitable steam and boiler system solutions based on customer requirements
- Act as a technical advisor to customers, providing pre- and post-sales support
- Interpret customer needs and recommend solutions involving steam traps, condensate systems, and thermal equipment
Engineering Solutions & Troubleshooting
- Diagnose and resolve customer issues related to steam systems, boilers, and process equipment
- Participate in technical discussions with client engineering and maintenance teams
- Propose improvements that enhance system efficiency, reliability, and cost savings
Product Presentation & Training
- Deliver technical presentations and product demonstrations on steam and boiler solutions
- Conduct training sessions for both internal teams and external customers
- Support development of technical and marketing materials where required
Project & Stakeholder Management
- Support engineering projects from concept through to completion
- Work closely with suppliers and principals to source and implement suitable solutions
- Act as the technical bridge between customers and suppliers to ensure requirements are met
Continuous Improvement & Market Awareness
- Stay updated on industry trends in steam systems, boiler technologies, and industrial processes
- Identify opportunities for new products or enhancements to existing solutions
- Support expansion of product offerings through engagement with global suppliers
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or related Engineering discipline
- 2-5 years of experience in steam systems, boiler operations, thermal engineering, or industrial process equipment
- Familiarity with steam traps, condensate recovery systems, boilers, valves, or related products is highly advantageous
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot industrial systems
- Confident communicator with experience engaging engineering and maintenance teams
- Able to manage multiple projects and work both independently and collaboratively
