Murex Technical Delivery Manager
Qualifications & Skills Required
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or related discipline (or equivalent experience)
- Proven experience managing IT projects in a banking or capital markets environment
- Strong Murex expertise with deep technical understanding across front‑to‑back‑to‑risk modules
- Solid knowledge of treasury products and trade lifecycle processes
- Excellent stakeholder, communication, and vendor management skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams under pressure
Key Responsibilities
Stakeholder & Communication Management
- Manage end‑to‑end project and change engagement, including planning, execution, and transition to BAU
- Act as the primary point of contact across business stakeholders, technology teams, vendors, and senior leadership
- Drive clear and effective executive‑level communications on project status, risks, dependencies, and financials
- Proactively manage expectations, risks, issues, and change requests across stakeholders
Process and Delivery Execution
- Manage a portfolio of complex Murex initiatives spanning one or multiple lines of business, including Front Office, Risk, Finance, Operations, and Technology
- Own full end‑to‑end project lifecycle delivery, from initiation and planning through execution, testing, deployment, and closure
- Ensure all projects and change initiatives are strategically aligned with business objectives, regulatory requirements, and treasury transformation roadmaps
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans covering all delivery phases, milestones, dependencies, and critical paths
- Ensure timely allocation of adequate and appropriately skilled resources across business, IT, and vendor teams
- Manage day‑to‑day project execution, chair project governance and delivery meetings, and drive issue resolution
- Identify and manage interdependencies across Murex front‑to‑back workflows, including integrations with market data, risk engines, finance systems, and downstream platforms
- Control and manage project scope, change requests, and impacts to schedule, cost, and delivery commitments
- Act as an internal quality gate, ensuring adherence to SDM, governance, testing standards, and audit requirements
- Oversee ongoing quality control activities and actively participate in issue triage and defect resolution
- Delegate tasks and responsibilities clearly across delivery teams while ensuring accountability and ownership
- Monitor, track, and control delivery outcomes to resolve issues, conflicts, dependencies, and risks impacting critical path milestones
- Ensure all projects and change requests are delivered within agreed scope, timelines, budget, and quality benchmarks
- Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and delivery issues to minimize impact to baseline plans
