Required Skills Experience
8 -12+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, with strong focus on data migration projects
Proven experience in:
- Data mapping and transformation
- Data quality and reconciliation
- ETL processes and data warehousing concepts
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in SQL and data analysis tools
- Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Ability to bridge the gap between business and technical teams
Preferred/ Advantageous Skills
- Hands-on or working knowledge of Databricks
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Domain knowledge in large enterprise systems or financial systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field
- Relevant certifications (CBAP, PMI-PBA, Agile certifications) are a plus

Role Overview
- We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to lead and support complex data migration initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business analysis, data analysis, stakeholder management, and end-to-end migration projects.
Exposure to modern data platforms like Databricks and use of AI-assisted analysis tools is advantageous.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead business analysis activities for large-scale data migration and transformation projects
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, data engineers, and architects to define data requirements, mappings, and transformation rules
- Gather, document, and validate functional and data requirements
- Perform data analysis, profiling, and reconciliation to ensure data quality and integrity
- Leverage AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot) to enhance requirement gathering, documentation, and analysis
- Develop and maintain source-to-target mappings (STTM) for migration
- Support data validation, testing (UAT), and defect resolution
- Facilitate workshops, stakeholder meetings, requirement walkthroughs and translate business needs into clear technical specifications and user stories
- Actively participate in Agile ceremonies
- Work closely with engineering teams using modern data platforms (e.g., Databricks)
Ensure compliance with data governance, security, and regulatory requirements
