Brief Job Description

Junior Basis Functional Consultant will play a crucial role in supporting the SAP landscape, ensuring system stability, and contributing to the successful implementation of SAP projects. The ideal candidate should have a solid foundation in SAP Basis administration and a willingness to learn and grow within a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

System Administration: Assist in the administration and maintenance of SAP systems, including system monitoring, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.

User and Authorization Management: Support user administration and authorization activities, ensuring compliance with security policies.

System Upgrades and Patch Management: Contribute to SAP system upgrades, enhancement packs, and patch management activities.

Transport Management: Assist in the configuration and management of transport requests to move developments across different SAP environments.

Backup and Recovery: Contribute to the implementation and testing of backup and recovery procedures to ensure data integrity.

Monitoring and Optimization: Monitor system performance and collaborate with senior consultants to optimize SAP landscapes.

Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation related to system configurations, changes, and procedures.

Collaboration: Work closely with SAP functional and technical teams to resolve issues and implement changes.

Qualifications:

Polytechnic graduation with 1 or less than year of experience in SAP Basis administration.

Knowledge of SAP landscapes, system monitoring, and performance tuning.

Basic understanding of SAP transport management and system upgrades.

Familiarity with user administration and authorization concepts.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

SAP certification in Basis administration is a plus but not mandatory.

Experience with SAP S/4HANA Basis administration is highly desirable.

Exposure to SAP Fiori and SAP HANA environments.

Knowledge of SAP Solution Manager for system monitoring and management.

Understanding of SAP security best practices.
