Technical Business Analyst (Infra experience)

BM Consulting is seeking a Technical Business Analyst with Infrastructure experience to bridge business needs and complex technology solutions for our clients. In this role, you will work closely with stakeholders, architects, and engineering teams to analyze, design, and deliver infrastructure-focused solutions that drive business transformation.

You will play a key role in translating business requirements into technical specifications across on-prem, cloud, and hybrid infrastructure environments, while ensuring alignment with IBM's delivery standards and best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with business stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document functional and non-functional requirements related to infrastructure initiatives

• Translate business needs into clear technical requirements, user stories, and solution designs for infrastructure, cloud, and platform teams

• Collaborate with solution architects, infrastructure engineers, and DevOps teams to support design, implementation, and deployment activities

• Analyze current-state infrastructure environments and define future-state roadmaps aligned to business objectives

• Support initiatives involving data centers, networks, servers, storage, virtualization, cloud (IaaS/PaaS), and hybrid environments

• Create and maintain documentation such as requirements specifications, process flows, architecture diagrams, and operational runbooks

• Facilitate workshops, requirement reviews, and stakeholder discussions across technical and non-technical audiences

• Identify risks, dependencies, and impacts related to infrastructure changes and migrations

• Support testing, validation, and acceptance of infrastructure solutions

• Ensure solutions comply with security, regulatory, and governance standards

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

• Proven experience as a Technical Business Analyst in infrastructure-focused projects

• Strong understanding of infrastructure components, including:

  • Servers, storage, networking, and virtualization

  • Cloud platforms (AWS)

  • Hybrid and multi-cloud environments

• Experience working with technical teams to deliver infrastructure transformations or migrations

• Strong requirements gathering, documentation, and analytical skills

• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

• Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, or hybrid delivery methodologies

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in consulting or professional services environments

• Exposure to DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and automation tools

• Knowledge of ITSM frameworks (e.g., ITIL)

• Experience with infrastructure modernization, cloud migration, or data center transformation initiatives

• Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS, Azure, ITIL, CBAP, SAFe)
