Technical Business Analyst - Cloud & Event-Driven Platforms
We are looking for a Technical Business Analyst to bridge business needs and engineering teams in delivering cloud-native, microservices-based solutions. You will work across Java/Quarkus, Node.js, OpenShift, and event-driven platforms to ensure scalable and well-integrated systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, and document business, functional, and technical requirements.
- Translate requirements into user stories, acceptance criteria, APIs, and integration specs.
- Collaborate with engineering teams (Java, Node.js, OpenShift, integration) on solution design.
- Support event-driven architectures (APIs, messaging, topics, data flows).
- Maintain end-to-end traceability and perform impact analysis across systems.
- Participate in Agile delivery (grooming, sprint planning, UAT support).
- Act as the liaison between business and technical teams, ensuring clarity and alignment.
Key Requirements
- 3-7 years experience as a Business Analyst / Technical BA.
- Strong experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Solid understanding of microservices, APIs, and event-driven architectures.
- Familiarity with OpenShift/Kubernetes concepts and distributed systems.
- Ability to interpret technical artefacts (API specs, schemas, logs).
- Strong SQL skills for data analysis and validation.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Nice to Have
- Exposure to Solace, Kafka, or messaging platforms.
- Experience with CI/CD, DevOps, or observability practices.
- Background in large enterprise or regulated environments.
