Technical Architect

JKey Responsibilities

• Lead the design and architecture of scalable, secure, and high-performance software solutions.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical and functional specifications.
• Prepare and review system design documents, technical specifications, and test cases.
• Provide architectural guidance and technical leadership to development and support teams.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and regional teams to ensure solution alignment.
• Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including Agile methodologies.
• Ensure system integration through APIs and messaging systems.
• Support and enhance existing applications within the corporate banking ecosystem.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide sustainable solutions.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience in Java and VB .NET development.
• Experience in application support or business analysis within banking or financial services.
• Solid understanding of nostro reconciliation systems (experience preferred).
• Proficiency in:
• Microsoft SQL Server (MSSQL)
• Windows-based environments
• API integration
• Familiarity with messaging systems such as IBM MQ.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
• Experience in requirement gathering, documentation, and test case design.
• Knowledge of full SDLC, including Agile methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with BR ProActive system.
• Exposure to regional or multi-channel banking systems.
• Understanding of corporate banking workflows and transaction processing systems.
