ABOUT THE ROLE
The Technical Account Manager (TAM) role at Bare Cove Technology presents a unique opportunity for a highly motivated candidate to gain experience working across all aspects of the business. Each TAM is responsible for managing the overall relationship with their designated clients, while providing in-depth technical expertise as well as creative and innovative consulting. The TAM's understanding of the technical nuances of BCT's products, combined with their understanding of the Client's business needs, will allow them to integrate the two and provide value-add to the relationship. The TAM works closely with all BCT departments to improve business outcomes and drive value across the organization and clients. The successful TAM will take pride in having complete ownership of their client's needs, responsible for handling day-to-day service requests with the team as well as providing recommendations to the Client on their technical strategic direction and roadmap to achieving their goals.
Job Duties:
- Build and maintain an in-depth understanding of all BCT products and services.
- Engage with internal teams to ensure the technology services are delivered to clients meeting high-level standards.
- Translate and present complex technical solutions to clients with simplicity for ease of understanding.
- Generate and steer technical reporting to enhance service delivery.
- Engage in regular meetings with clients to present business and industry updates, and propose updated technology solutions.
- Provide technology advisory to the clients to improve their technology stack and procedures, plan out the technology initiatives on behalf of them, improve their efficiency through automation, and address their concerns to fulfil regulatory and investors requirements.
- Proactively managing clients, from research and service proposals through to account and delivery management.
- Coordinate with internal support and project management teams to deliver the clients technical requests.
- Work with the internal sales team to boost sales and achieve sales revenue objectives.
This role is primarily based in our office in Singapore, with hybrid remote work and travel opportunities available. The candidate will be reporting to the Head of Account Management.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong technical background and interest in various IT solutions, especially in cloud services like Microsoft 365 products, Azure and AWS cloud, as well as traditional IT infrastructure such as Active Directory and File Server, with relevant IT certifications and a proven track record in solving technical problems.
- Interest in cyber security with a naturally strong security mindset.
- Must excel in a fast-paced, agile environment where critical thinking and strong problem-solving skills are required for success.
- Commercial acumen, analytical skills and client-facing experience.
- A commitment to continuous learning and improvement, and leveraging automation to improve efficiencies.
- Strong attention-to-detail, highly responsive, overly communicative, and very reliable.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills; Mandarin is a plus.
The following qualities and experience are preferred:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Technology, or closely related disciplines.
- Experience working with financial institutions (buy-side preferred).
- Experience working in a Managed Service Provider environment and account management.
- Strong and persuasive communicator, confident presenting to C-level clients.
- Experience in proposal writing and quoting.
