Techical Delivery Manager, Data Lake/ Data Warehouse (Banking, 1-year renewable contract)

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and end-to-end delivery of enterprise Data Lake and Data Warehouse platform initiatives, including re-platform and infrastructure modernization projects
• Manage project execution for platform rollouts driven by hardware and software obsolescence requirements
• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to gather, analyse, and translate business requirements into actionable project and delivery plans
• Coordinate with technical teams to deliver scalable technical solutions aligned with enterprise architecture and strategic objectives
• Act as the key point of contact for stakeholders, providing regular project updates, managing expectations, and addressing concerns effectively
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues proactively, including developing contingency and remediation plans
• Drive effective resource allocation, workload management, and team productivity across project activities
• Ensure timely, high-quality delivery of technical solutions within agreed scope, timelines, and governance standards
• Support cross-functional collaboration across business, infrastructure, data, and technology teams throughout the project lifecycle
• Oversee delivery activities related to enterprise-scale Data Lake and Data Warehouse implementations and enhancements

Key Requirements

• Strong experience managing end-to-end technical delivery and rollout projects within enterprise environments
• Proven experience delivering large-scale Data Lake and Data Warehouse initiatives
• Strong understanding of enterprise data platforms, data architecture, and data transformation projects
• Hands-on experience translating business requirements into technical delivery plans and solution outcomes
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to engage both business and technical teams effectively
• Solid project planning, risk management, and issue management capabilities
• Experience managing cross-functional technical teams and coordinating project resources effectively
• Ability to work in fast-paced environments and manage multiple priorities simultaneously
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Experience in banking or financial services technology projects is highly preferred
