The Role
As the Tech Lead, you will be the chief architect of Ceffu's technological vision and the ultimate owner of our mission-critical infrastructure. You will lead a global engineering organization to scale our Regulatory Fortress, ensuring 99.99% uptime for our high-availability financial engine. This is a strategic leadership role that requires a deep understanding of cryptography, distributed systems, and the rigor of global financial regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Engineering Leadership: Define and execute a technical roadmap that aligns product innovation with institutional security requirements and Ceffu's ambitious growth plans.
- Cryptographic Governance: Oversee the integrity of our MPC-backed custodial framework, including Threshold Signing Schemes (TSS), Trusted Execution Environment (TEE) and Hardware Security Module (HSM).
- Settlement Innovation: Drive the technical evolution of MirrorX and MirrorRSV, optimizing for 100% capital efficiency and automated off-exchange settlement workflows.
- Regulatory & Audit Excellence: Serve as the technical lead for global licensing (VARA) and independent audits (ISO27001 & SOC 2 Type II), ensuring a continuous, traceable evidence chain for all security controls.
- Operational Resilience: Manage 24/7 mission-critical systems, fostering an engineering culture that prioritizes automation, ownership, and zero-security-incident status.
- RWA Expansion: Architect the product stack to support the next generation of tokenized Real-World Assets (RWAs), integrating yield-bearing collateral into the institutional workflow
Requirements
- Experience: 10+ years in software engineering, with at least 5 years in an executive leadership role (VP Engineering) managing geographically distributed teams.
- Domain Expertise: Proven track record in building high-reliability fintech or security systems (e.g., payments, identity, or custody) where correctness is paramount.
- Crypto Native: Deep technical knowledge of blockchain protocols, smart contracts, and cryptographic modules (TSS, TEE, HSM).
- Regulatory Fluency: Experience operating within VARA, NYDFS, or SEC/FINRA regulated frameworks.
- Tech Stack Proficiency: Familiarity with high-performance distributed systems, cloud infrastructure (AWS), and modern development environments (Java, Go, Kubernetes).
- Leadership Style: A servant leadership approach with exceptional communication skills to bridge technical architecture and business strategy for board-level stakeholders.
