Job Description

Role Overview:

The Team Lead, Integrated Product Management, oversees a portfolio of digital and AI-enabled products that support educators, centre leaders, operations teams, and parents. This role leads a team of Product Managers (PMs) and drives end-to-end product outcomes - from discovery and co-creation on the ground, to delivery, adoption, optimisation, and long-term sustainability.

You'll champion a Product-Led Growth (PLG) mindset, ensuring our products are intuitive, impactful, and naturally adopted across centres. The role combines leadership, strategic planning, innovation, financial discipline, and strong engagement with internal and external partners.

1. Lead and Develop the Product Team

  • Coach and guide PMs in applying product management best practices and PLG principles.
  • Set clear goals, review team performance, and strengthen product capability across the team.
  • Foster a culture of curiosity, experimentation, and grounded problem-solving.

2. Own the Product Portfolio & Drive P&L Outcomes

  • Oversee the full lifecycle of all products under the portfolio - from discovery to retirement.
  • Maintain a portfolio-level view of product health, roadmap alignment, and long-term direction.
  • Ensure financial sustainability: monitor cost of ownership, evaluate ROI, optimise value for spend.
  • Identify redundancy across tools, consolidate where possible, and guide teams to invest wisely.

3. Ground Discovery, Co-Creation & User Understanding

  • Lead user discovery practices across centres: interviews, observations, workflow studies.
  • Ensure the team captures real needs from educators, curriculum specialists, and operations staff.
  • Validate problems and prototype solutions through structured co-creation sessions.
  • Translate insights into clear, prioritised product requirements and user journeys.

4. Drive Innovation & Future Value Creation

  • Shape a forward-looking innovation agenda for the portfolio, leveraging AI, automation, analytics, and digital learning capabilities.
  • Guide PMs in running pilots, experiments, and prototypes to validate new ideas.
  • Incorporate validated innovations into the roadmap and track measurable impact.
  • Promote cost-aware innovation that ties directly to improved operations or new growth opportunities.

5. Lead Digital Transformation & External Engagement

  • Represent NFC in ecosystem engagements with ECDA, MOE, IHLs, industry partners, and research collaborators.
  • Ensure products align with national digital-transformation goals and sector needs.
  • Build partnerships that strengthen NFC's role as a leader in digital and AI-enabled early-childhood solutions.

6. Direct Product Strategy, Delivery & Scaling

  • Define multi-year product strategies and roadmaps that balance quick wins and long-term bets.
  • Ensure the team applies PLG principles to drive intuitive, self-serve user experiences.
  • Partner with engineering, design, vendors, and IT to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions.
  • Oversee centre-level rollout, enablement, and change adoption activities.

7. Measure, Optimise & Grow the Portfolio

  • Set and track key metrics across products: activation, engagement, usage depth, efficiency gains, and ROI.
  • Use data to refine priorities, features, and design direction.
  • Ensure coherence and interoperability across the entire product ecosystem.
  • Scale successful solutions and retire low-value or high-cost products.

Key Competencies

  • Strong leadership and stakeholder-influencing skills
  • Deep understanding of product management and PLG
  • Ability to balance business outcomes, user value, and technical feasibility
  • Comfortable with innovation, ambiguity, and iterative experimentation
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and ecosystem-engagement skills
  • Financial acumen and experience owning product P&L
  • User-centric, data-driven, and grounded in operational realities

Ideal Profile

  • Experience leading product managers or cross-functional teams
  • Background in digital transformation, EdTech, AI-enabled products, or similar domains
  • Comfortable working with educators, operations teams, and government/sector partners
  • Passionate about building products that deliver measurable impact and are truly loved by users
