WHAT YOU'LL DO

We are seeking Teaching Assistants (TAs) who are passionate about guiding mid-career professionals through their journey of acquiring and applying digital skills. As a TA, you will play a crucial role in helping trainees transition into new careers by providing essential support throughout their learning process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Trainers: Assist in hosting online training sessions via Zoom, manage breakout rooms, and facilitate interactive learning activities (polls, games, simulations) using various tools.
  • Trainee Assistance: Communicate session details before, during, and after lessons via chat, email, and other platforms. Address trainee questions and escalate complex content queries to trainers as needed.
  • Facilitate Group Work: Lead coaching and tutorial sessions, guiding trainees through content and assignments, and facilitating productive group discussions.
  • One-on-One Coaching: Connect individually with trainees to motivate and support those who may be falling behind, ensuring they stay on track.
  • Monitor Progress: Track attendance and assessment reports to identify at-risk trainees, offering targeted support to enhance their learning experience.
  • Provide Feedback: Regularly update trainers on trainee progress, session pacing, and content effectiveness, contributing to continuous program improvement.
  • Assessment Grading: Collaborate with trainers to grade trainee assessments accurately and efficiently.
  • Process Improvement: Work with the team to review and enhance existing processes, ensuring a high-quality learning experience for all participants.

WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH

As a TA, you will report to both the Track Lead and Learner Excellence Lead. You will also work closely with other members in the team, including experts in content, operations, placement, and marketing.

QUALIFICATIONS

Must-Haves:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to coach and mentor learners effectively.
  • A disciplined, process-oriented approach with the maturity to represent the BCG brand and a willingness to continually reskill.
  • Excellent proficiency in English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in using various tech tools such as Zoom, Miro, and Trello, and the ability to quickly learn new digital tools.
  • Competency in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Responsible, meticulous, and a self-starter with the ability to manage tasks independently.
  • A strong team player with a sense of ownership in your work.

Good to Have:

  • Experience in training or coaching, particularly with mid-career or senior professionals.
  • A background in business (e.g., MBA, industry experience).
  • Familiarity with topics being taught (either Data Analytics, Digital Marketing, and Digital Transformation).
  • Experience working with learning management systems (LMS) or online education platforms.
  • Basic understanding of data analysis and reporting to monitor trainee progress and outcomes.
