Job Description
The duties and responsibilities of a Teacher shall include the following but not limited to:
- Teach Physics at H1, H2 and H3 levels (includes lectures, tutorials, practical lessons involved in setting and marking of assessments)
- Be involved in the holistic development of highly able students through quality teaching and learning, pastoral care and co-curricular activities
- Make meaningful contributions to the school (e.g. through committee work) and partner stakeholders (e.g. parents) to help students achieve learning objectives
- Any other duties assigned by the Head of Department and/or School
Job Requirements
- A graduate with a good Bachelor's Degree in the relevant discipline or a related discipline
- Postgraduate Diploma in Education or an equivalent teaching qualification will be an advantage
- Experience and interest in mentoring students in talent development programmes such as Singapore Physics Olympiad and the Young Physicists Tournament would be an advantage (but not a requirement)
- Enjoy teaching highly able students, and working with a diverse group of colleagues and stakeholders
- A team player who is committed and possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills
This is a 2-year contract (renewable)
