Teacher Assistant(Special Education)

Job Description & Requirements

• Assist in classroom teaching, including hydrotherapy/ swimming sessions, toilet-training, showering and other daily living skills training sessions.
• Assist in supervising and managing students behaviour using appropriate behaviour intervention techniques.
• Assist in lesson delivery, classroom teaching resources/ materials and equipment.
• Support students learning in the classroom, learning journeys, school events, and ad-hoc activities during out-of-school hours.
• Attend meetings, case discussions, home visits and other relevant staff development training.
• Support in planning and execution of school events
• Assist in students-related administrative duties
