Description
- Manage and oversee all aspects of tax matters including GST, corporate tax filings and tax planning for EU and US markets
- Provide strategic advice on tax planning to optimise the organisation's tax position.
- Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and manage relationships with relevant authorities.
- Collaborate with internal teams to address tax-related queries and provide guidance.
- Identify and mitigate potential tax risks while ensuring adherence to global tax policies.
- Support tax audits and manage documentation to meet statutory requirements.
- Monitor changes in tax regulations and assess their impact on the business.
- Assist in the preparation of reports and presentations for senior management.
Profile
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field with at least 5 years of experience
- Open to candidates from Big 4 and/or commercial backgrounds with regional, hybrid scope exposure
- Demonstrate strong technical application of tax principles
- Effective business partnering skills with external tax agents
- Strong communication and written skills to liaise with Shanghai HQ stakeholders
