Tax Manager

Responsibilities

1. Drive the enhancement of the tax compliance framework coordinate external advisors to complete multi-tax compliance filings for all subsidiaries within the region align tax filing positions across entities and maintain ongoing communication with tax authorities.

2. Lead regional data collection for Annual Country-by-Country Reporting (CbCR), Pillar Two, and monthly tax analyses, including data validation, consistency checks, root-cause analysis, and calculation of regional top-up taxes.

3. Analyze and interpret regional tax laws and policies, assess business impacts, propose response strategies to ensure compliance, and lead the implementation and application of applicable tax incentives.

4. Monitor drivers of effective tax rate (ETR) fluctuations across regional entities manage tax asset balances and utilization identify and implement actionable tax optimization opportunities aligned with business models and execute group transfer pricing policies.

5. Strengthen the regional tax risk management framework conduct regular tax risk self-assessments identify and mitigate potential risks and lead and manage responses to tax audits and regulatory inquiries.

6. Optimize regional tax processes and support the implementation of tax digitalization initiatives to improve efficiency.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree or above, preferably in Finance, Accounting, or Taxation.

2. Minimum 4 years of experience in overseas corporate tax roles or with a Big Four firm specializing in international tax.

3. Familiarity with the tax regulations of at least one of the following regions, with hands-on practical experience: Vietnam & Thailand Hong Kong & Singapore the United States or Mexico.

4. Fluent in English, with English as a working language.
