Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Tax Manager to join our Group Tax team. The ideal candidate must be a team player with a positive can-do attitude and is able to clearly communicate his/her ideas across to stakeholders. You'll play a key role to regional tax compliance and tax planning activities, working with cross-functional teams to drive strong tax processes and controls.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner local finance teams of countries under purview to ensure compliance with local tax regulations, including reviewing the local team's tax reporting, providing timely tax analysis and advice, working with stakeholders to resolve tax audit, enquiries from tax authorities offering constructive solutions.
- Drive the group's preparation and compliance to BEP 2.0, working with internal and external stakeholders as required.
- Work with countries under purview on transfer pricing matters, ensuring compliance at all times.
- Advise stakeholders on tax structuring and incentives opportunities to optimise tax positions.
- Implement and maintain internal control and tax risk management framework.
- Participate in projects as required, providing input from a tax perspective.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related discipline with professional qualification (e.g. SCTP, CPA).
- Minimum 7 to 8 years of relevant experience in tax, preferably with a balanced mix of relevant experience in a professional services firm and commercial organisation with established Asian presence.
- Strong knowledge of Singapore and international tax laws and regulations.
- Track record in managing projects and advisory work in a regional capacity preferred
- Experience with transfer pricing projects, BEPS 2.0 compliance preparation and reporting across Asia is a requirement.
