Job Description
A market leader in the FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) industry is looking for a regional tax manager to drive the tax for SEA. This role combines strategic oversight with hands-on advisory responsibilities, ensuring compliance across jurisdictions while optimizing the company's tax position. You will work closely with Finance, Legal, and other stakeholders to integrate tax considerations into business decisions, identify efficiency opportunities, and manage risk. This involves overseeing tax planning, transfer pricing projects, audits, and disputes, serving as the main liaison with authorities and external advisors. You will guide and develop a small tax team, providing coaching, setting priorities, and fostering collaboration. Additionally, you will support cluster-wide projects, share market insights, and help standardize tax processes across the region.
The ideal candidate should have at least 7 years of experience in corporate tax and transfer pricing, with strong local tax and also regional experience. Success in this role requires excellent communication, stakeholder management, and a proactive, solutions-oriented approach.
