1. Tax Compliance Management
Support Asia Pacific entities in the accurate and timely filing and payment of corporate income tax, VAT / GST, and other applicable taxes, ensuring full compliance and zero-failure execution throughout the process.
2. Tax Planning & Optimization
Develop and implement regional tax planning initiatives aligned with broader business objectives, with a focus on improving tax efficiency and identifying legitimate tax-saving opportunities across Asia Pacific.
3. Tax Advisory Support
Provide practical tax analysis and recommendations to management and cross-functional stakeholders on business decisions, material transactions, and day-to-day operations to mitigate tax risks and support informed decision-making.
4. Tax Audit Coordination
Lead and coordinate tax audits and inspections with local tax authorities, including document preparation, issue management, communication, and follow-up to ensure smooth and timely closure.
5. Tax Policy & Process Development
Establish, maintain, and continuously improve regional tax policies, standard operating procedures, and internal controls to ensure compliance with local laws and regulations.
6. Regulatory Research & Impact Assessment
Monitor tax law and regulatory developments across Asia Pacific, assess business impact in a timely manner, and provide clear recommendations and implementation measures.
7. Cross-functional Collaboration
Partner closely with Finance, Legal, and Business Operations teams to provide end-to-end tax support, identify optimization opportunities, and enable efficient business execution.
1. Education
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline. A Master's degree or CPA qualification is highly preferred.
2. Experience
Minimum 5 years of tax management experience with regional/international tax exposure.
3. Technical Expertise
Strong hands-on experience in tax planning, tax strategy development, and tax compliance execution.
4. Language
Strong proficiency in English and Chinese is required, as the role involves frequent communication and coordination with headquarters in China and other Chinese‑speaking counterparts.
5. Systems Proficiency
Familiarity with tax software and Microsoft Office Suite.
6. Industry Background
Experience in the FMCG and/or home appliances / consumer electronics industry strongly preferred, with proven exposure to regional or multi-market operations.
