Tax Accountant (MNC)

Key Responsibilities

• Corporate Tax: Coordinate annual filings with external advisors.
• GST & WHT: File quarterly GST and withholding taxes independently.
• Group Reporting: Handle year-end provisioning, disclosures, and ETR calculations.
• Global Tax: Support OECD Pillar Two (BEPS 2.0) and transfer pricing documentation.
• Business Partnering: Advise operational teams and review contracts for tax risks.
• Audit Defense: Manage queries, audits, and investigations from tax authorities.
• Legislation: Monitor changing tax laws and assess business impact.
• Process Improvement: Standardize SOPs and enhance SAP tax automation.
• Trade Compliance: Support product customs classification and import/export rules.

Job Requirements

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or equivalent.
• Experience: Minimum 5 years in tax (Manufacturing MNC or Big 4 preferred).
• Systems: Proficiency in SAP or similar ERP systems is an added advantage
• Bonus Skills: Exposure to regional Southeast Asia and international tax regimes
