Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Android apps using Kotlin
- Build responsive UIs with Jetpack Compose and Android frameworks
- Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices
- Integrate RESTful APIs with backend services
- Participate in Agile processes (sprints, reviews, retrospectives)
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimise app performance
- Contribute to CI/CD, automated builds, and testing
- Perform unit, UI, and UAT testing
- Enhance app quality through monitoring and iteration
- Document technical designs and implementations
Requirements
- 2 years of Android (Kotlin) development experience preferred
- Strong Kotlin fundamentals (coroutines, flows, null safety)
- Experience with Jetpack components (ViewModel, Flow/LiveData, Navigation)
- Familiarity with Jetpack Compose or modern UI frameworks
- Experience with REST APIs and JSON handling
- Proficient in Git and Agile development practices
- DevOps knowledge is a plus
