Job Description

SM Universe (Singapore) is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Talent Management/Business Development Manager with relevant experience to oversee and drive the development, profile, live gigs, and day-to-day management of artistes and trainees. 

This role will be based in Singapore, with occasional local and overseas travel requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Talent & Trainee Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for artistes and trainees, managing day-to-day communications, schedules, attendance, evaluations, and development milestones throughout their training journey.
  • Business Development: Get suitable sponsors, live gigs and entertainment industry opportunities for artistes and trainees. 
  • Artist Development Support: Work closely with trainers, choreographers, vocal coaches, and programme leads to support holistic talent development, ensuring trainees meet performance, professionalism, and conduct standards. Create content to grow the artists social media channels. 
  • Trainee Welfare & Communication: Provide guidance and support to trainees, addressing concerns professionally and empathetically, and communicating with parents or guardians where applicable.
  • Compliance & Professional Standards: Ensure trainees adhere to academy policies, codes of conduct, and confidentiality requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Arts Management, Education, or a related field.
  • Relevant experience in talent management, artist management, entertainment, event management, sponsorships and business development.
  • Strong interest and understanding of the entertainment industry.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple schedules and priorities.
  • High level of discretion, professionalism, and attention to detail.
  • Comfortable working evenings or weekends when required 

Preferred Skills:

  • Strong business development skills to create commercial impact. 
  • Experience working with performers, artists, or trainees.
  • Exposure to entertainment agencies, training academies, or creative institutions.
  • Mandarin or Korean language proficiency is a plus.
