Job Description

Job Profile Summary

This role is primarily responsible for talent acquisition initiatives for CDL Group, including graduate recruitment, undergraduate scholarships and internship placement. You will fulfill the Group's talent acquisition objectives through exploring innovative strategies which drive talent attraction, sourcing and enhancement to the recruiting experience. You will forge strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to build a sustainable candidate pipeline. You will also support the team in the annual talent review and succession planning cycle and other talent management initiatives.

Job Responsibilities

Talent Acquisition

  • Partner HR Business Partners and hiring managers to understand their staffing needs, define job requirements, and create compelling job descriptions.
  • Plan and own end-to-end recruitment process for CDL Group, including interns and management trainees from sourcing, screening, interviews scheduling, reference checks, offers and onboarding coordination.
  • Source potential candidates through various channels (e.g. social media, job boards, professional networks, etc.)
  • Build relationships with universities, polytechnics and industry bodies to sustain a healthy candidate pipeline.
  • Track hiring progress, ensure good candidate experience and provide timely updates to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Identify and implement workflow automation solutions, including agentic AI, to streamline manual, repetitive recruitment processes, enhance data accuracy, and improve overall process efficiency.

Employer Branding

  • Develop and implement an effective employer branding strategy to enhance the organization's reputation as an employer of choice
  • Manage and enhance CDL's employer presence on platforms such as LinkedIn, Glassdoor, etc, ensuring timely responses to reviews and leveraging insights to strengthen employer branding initiatives.
  • Coordinate CDL's participation in universities or industry networking events.
  • Monitor campaign/event outcomes and share insights to strengthen CDL's positioning.

Talent Management & Succession

  • Support annual talent reviews and succession planning exercises.
  • Maintain talent profiles, successor lists and related data in HR systems and dashboards.

Data, Systems & Process Improvement

  • Maintain accurate recruitment and talent data in ATS system, Workday, and offline recruitment trackers and dashboards.
  • Generate key metrics (e.g. time-to-fill, source effectiveness, talent pipeline health), and suggest improvements to processes, templates and tools to enhance efficiency and experience.
  • Prepare presentation materials for management discussions.

Job Requirements

  • Degree in Human Resources Management, Business, Psychology or related disciplines
  • At least 1 year of in-house/agency talent acquisition or business partnering experience
  • Proven experience in end-to-end recruitment and internal/external stakeholder management (across different seniority levels)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment manage multiple priorities, meet tight deadlines and provide innovative and pragmatic solutions
  • Ability to work productively and effectively, both as an individual contributor and as part of a team
  • Organised, detail-oriented and genuine passion in delivering positive candidate experience
  • Strong computer literacy (Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel) and database management
  • Prior experience in Workday, PowerBI and recruiting applicant tracking systems preferred
  • Exposure to talent management is an advantage
