Talent Acquisition Lead - Shipping (2 Year Contract)

We are pleased to be partnering one of the region's largest and most established shipping companies as they undergo a significant phase of transformation across its fleet, internal systems, and digitalisation initiatives. As part of this evolution, they are seeking a Talent Acquisition Lead to join the HR team and play a key role in shaping how talent is identified, engaged, and hired across the organisation.

About The Role

This is an individual contributor role with ownership over the company's recruitment activities across business and operational hiring needs. As the sole Talent Acquisition specialist within the team, you will have the opportunity to build strong stakeholder relationships and drive recruitment processes with a high degree of autonomy. Some key responsibilities include:

• Managing end-to-end recruitment activities from sourcing and screening through to offer management and onboarding coordination.
• Partnering closely with hiring managers to understand manpower requirements and hiring priorities.
• Working alongside external search firms on more senior or specialised mandates.
• Driving a smooth, professional, and positive candidate experience throughout the hiring journey.
• Supporting recruitment process improvements as the organisation continues its broader transformation efforts.

What We Are Looking For

You should have at least 5-9 years of recruitment experience gained either in-house or within search firms. Prior exposure to the shipping or maritime industry will be highly advantageous, particularly for candidates familiar with technical roles within the industry. This role will suit recruiters who enjoy ownership, autonomy, and the opportunity to contribute during a meaningful transformation phase.
