At SPEMOCEAN, we are expanding our recruitment team and are looking for a Recruitment Consultant with strong business development experience to drive client partnerships and deliver high-impact talent solutions across the oil & gas and engineering sectors.
This role offers the opportunity to manage end-to-end recruitment, build strategic client relationships, and actively contribute to revenue growth in a fast-growing, international manpower and consulting firm. Key Responsibilities
Client & Business Development
- Develop and manage strong, long-term relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
- Proactively identify new business opportunities through market mapping, networking, and client outreach.
- Support proposal preparation, pricing discussions, and contract negotiations.
- Act as a trusted recruitment partner, advising clients on hiring strategies, market availability, and talent trends.
End-to-End Recruitment Delivery
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from job briefing, sourcing, screening, and interviews to offer negotiation and onboarding.
- Source and engage high-quality candidates through direct sourcing, databases, referrals, and market intelligence.
- Ensure candidate quality, engagement, and alignment with client expectations throughout the hiring process.
- Maintain accurate recruitment records, reports, and KPI tracking.
Market & Talent Advisory
- Stay updated on industry trends, talent availability, salary benchmarks, and competitor movements.
- Provide data-driven insights to clients and internal stakeholders to support hiring decisions.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of recruitment processes and client delivery standards.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in agency recruitment (360), with proven business development exposure.
- Experience in oil & gas, engineering, or technical recruitment is a strong advantage.
- Strong client-facing and relationship management skills.
- Commercial mindset with the ability to identify and close business opportunities.
- Excellent sourcing, negotiation, and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Self-driven, target-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
