Talend ETL Developer

Position Type: Permanent - Full Time

Job Summary :

ETL Developer position is to work closely with Data management team and ETL Lead in designing, coding, and testing the data warehousing system as per Company / Client's specifications.

Visa Status: Born Singaporeans

POSITION SPECIFICATIONS

1. Years of Experience: Between 7 Yrs. to 10 Yrs.
2. Relevant Experience: 5+ Years
3. Qualification: B. Tech / MCA / MTech / MSc Computers
4. Industry Domain: Public sector, Handled BFSI, Healthcare and Retail domains / projects

POSITION DESCRIPTION

Skills Required

1. Data Warehouse / ETL Technologies: Talend (Mandatory), others like Informatica, SSIS, Pentaho etc are optional
2. Databases - SQL, Oracle DB, My SQL, No SQL (Mango DB), PL/SQL
3. Cloud Environments - AWS/ Azure/ Google Cloud/GCC+ or GCC 2.0

Preferred Skills and Experience

1. Prior experience in ETL Talend, is a must
2. Experience in one or more databases such as Oracle DB, SQL Server, MySQL, No SQL such as Mongo DB with strong skills on SQL and PL/SQL and Java.
3. Experience with reporting and analytics tools is an advantage.
4. Experience working in GCC+/2.0,AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud environments is an added advantage.

Job Responsibilities

1. Designing and coding the data warehousing system to desired company specifications.
2. Conducting preliminary testing of the warehousing environment before data is extracted.
3. Extracting company data and transferring it into the new warehousing environment.
4. Troubleshooting any issues that may arise.
5. Providing maintenance support.

Soft Skills Requirement

1. Should have good communication skills.
2. Should be cope up with Work challenges and open for self-learning.
