Tableau Platform Developer

Job Description & Requirements We are seeking a skilled Tableau Platform Developer to join our analytics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Tableau. The role requires strong analytical thinking, business acumen, and hands-on experience with data modeling, SQL, and ETL processes.

Key Responsibilities

.Design, develop, and maintain interactive Tableau dashboards and visualizations to support business decision-making.

.Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, understand KPIs, and translate them into effective reporting solutions.

.Optimize and tune dashboards for performance and scalability.

.Develop and maintain data extracts, data sources, and Tableau Server/Online deployments.

.Perform data analysis, profiling, and validation to ensure accuracy and reliability of reports.

.Automate reporting processes and support ad-hoc analytical requests.

.Work closely with data engineers and database teams to integrate and prepare data from multiple sources.

.Ensure adherence to best practices in visualization, UX, and data governance..

Skills Required

.Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related field.

.Experience as a Tableau Developer or in a similar BI/Reporting role.

.Proficiency in Tableau Desktop, Tableau Server/Online, and Tableau Prep.

.Strong SQL skills (Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, or similar).

.Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.

.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

.Experience with performance tuning of Tableau dashboards.

.Knowledge of Python or R for advanced analytics.

.Exposure to other BI tools (Power BI, Qlik, etc.) is an advantage.

.Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
